Poems in the clouds

Image
I have always loved poetry as a child. I remembered jumping around repeating humpy dumpty over and over irritating all my family members.  Poetry is literature that evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound, and rhythm. I learned that poems use simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, alliteration and onomatopoeia I also learned that many poems have a specific rhyme scheme like AABB whereas, some poems may or may not rhyme Here is a video that shows my understanding of poems I hope it can help you understand and gain an understanding of why I love poetry.

This research reveals that all good writing has six key components such as ideas, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions. These key components provide teachers and students a common understanding of how to compose, revise, and assess all types of writing. They are inherent in well-written essays, reports, blogs, poems, videos, and other genres. Learning about these treats should not only be for the teacher but for the students also learning about these treats can help students to communicate about the strengths and weaknesses in writing. The Six Traits take the mystery out of what a “good” one looks and sounds like. The power in the traits is that they offer a mean of collectively grouping many skills together under one umbrella name Each trait represents related skills that have a similar impact on the overall writ...

Well, this club is the right place for you. Read all about the fascinating journey through the developmental stages of writing and how you can become involved and facilitate your child’s development. After I joined this club I became knowledgeable of the stages in writing development which helped me as a parent to assist my daughter. As I observed my daughter writing I came to the realization that she needed help and I was the only one that can give her the help needed.   This development is based on many factors as shown in the table below.  All  children  do not necessarily pass through the stages of writing development in early childhood at the same age or grades. However, it is important to be aware of the stages of their development so you can better assist the...
