Poems in the clouds

 

I have always loved poetry as a child. I remembered jumping around repeating humpy dumpty over and over irritating all my family members.

 Poetry is literature that evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound, and rhythm.

I learned that poems use simile, metaphor, hyperbole, personification, alliteration and onomatopoeia I also learned that many poems have a specific rhyme scheme like AABB whereas, some poems may or may not rhyme
