"All About Me"
Interactive and Informative session about, "All About Me" books. Here are some things I learnt.
- These books are suitable for students of any age and stage.
- These are books created by young children or beginning writers on familiar topics.
-It can be used as an assessment method which I would surely use at my return to the classroom.
-These books sparks interest in writing about their favourite topic.
-It can be done individually, small group or a whole class.
Here is an example of the "All About Me" book.
I am happy that it can be used to spark the interest of students. They usually view writing as an exhaustive process and are sometimes reluctant to write. "All about me" books are diverse and modifiable as a result the teacher can differentiated the product produced by students to fit their needs and interests. What a great way to get students intrinsically motivated to write and demonstrate their creativity!
